First of i want to say i love my leadership group, i want to just pour my heart in to soul in to every one in the group and it has been so awesome growing together this past year, i would encourage you to find some friends and at least once a week meet up and just hang out. it will change your life.
i am getting to something though, not just babbling about our group, well i guess i am doing that to but anyway.... last night was an awesome night for the group, just one of the surreal nights where you could just feel God there shaking things up, showing us there is way more than we can see. a lot of the group have been caught up in ambitions that we thought were going to change myrtle beach, even the world and we were pouring ourselves into these dreams and aspirations that we've had and that we thought God had been discerning to us but thats not the big picture God is showing us.
Haggai chapter 1:7-12
Take a good, hard look at your like. Think it over.
God said. " heres what I (KEY WORD) want you to do..... you have had great ambitions for yourself but nothing has come from it."
and he finishes the chapter telling them his plan for the temple and that he wants them to rebuild the temple. this may not be the very best story to show dreams or passion but as i was going through my study time today it spun me around and got me thinking of His big picture and plan for my life. we serve a huge God with huge plans so why would he do anything but huge for us, we are filled with him so i say let everything that is filled with his Holy spirit listen to him and find the life he is calling us to live.
